This is a lovely classic '50s black swimsuit that offers sensational girdle-style figure molding. This halter-style suit has a wonderful sweetheart bust with boning for a nice pointed silhouette. The strong, stretch body features waist-nipping construction and the sexy hips are covered with a skirt panel ~ so pin-up! Two openwork seams with bridge stitching connect the three front panels. Leg openings are elasticized for comfort and bathing suit closes in back with a metal zipper in perfect working order. Of course, we can't forget to mention the famous Jantzen diving girl applique just above the leg. Vintage 1950s. Embroidered cloth tag reads

EXCELLENT ~ very clean ~ appears worn once or maybe tried on ~ does not look like it was used for swimming ~ just the fabric at the tips of the bones on the inside show wear from age ~ on the inside only and does not affect appearance ~ no stains, holes, stretchout or pilling ~ black color has no fading ~ there are no distracting flaws.
