1950's Sheer Black Chiffon & Lace Petticoat Slip ~ Medium

We offer this delightful vintage black petticoat slip for your dancing nights. It begins with a sheer double nylon top that ends in a super full petticoat of two layers. The top skirt is is a combination of ruched nylon, lace inserts and a chiffon ruffle finish. Underneath is a chocolate brown & black net skirt with two ruffles edged in cotton binding for nice fullness. Waistband is sewn-on elastic and is in excellent condition. Vintage 1950's. Wash-away tag is not readable ~ please note measurements below.

Condition

Condition is EXCELLENT ~ appears barely worn ~ some small areas on the net underskirt that are not holes but rather separation of the fibers ~ nothing major ~ the lace inserts have turned slightly reddish ~ no holes, stains or fading of the black nylon ~ this petticoat still presents very nicely.
