We offer this gorgeous and glowing '40s silk jacquard slip for your collection. The wonderful cups have scalloped, embroidered edges and are beautifully embroidered with a floral motif. The overlap is loose with no fastening stitches allowing for easy fit. Bias skirt is slightly flared and finished with scalloped and embroidered edging. Silk straps adjust with what appears to be plastic, bone or celluloid sliders. Fabric is medium-weight with a wonderful cool, smooth feel and the color is light peach with pink undertones. Vintage 1940s. Tiny cloth tag inside slip reads

Guaranteed Pure Silk and Hand Embroidered ~ Size 36 ~ there is an elephant stamped on the tag which leads us to believe this is Chinese.
Condition
Condition is SUPERB ~ like new with no flaws of any kind ~ we have not cleaned the slip but it is quite clean without dirt or odors.
