This is a beautiful '40s pink silk chemise slip that has a lovely glow in the light and could easily be worn as a dress. The bodice top and flared hem are trimmed with pink cotton lace and the simple silk straps do not adjust. The crepe silk fabric has a bit of crispness and rustle when handled. Vintage late 1930s to early 1940s. Embroidered cloth tag reads All Silk ~ Crepe Charlo ~ we cleaned this slip so original wash-away size tag is not readable ~ please refer to measurements below.
