We offer this elegant vintage 40's shapely Poirette open bottom girdle for the collector seeking the unusual. In the color of beautiful antique peach, it is constructed of firm and heavy rayon/cotton powernet. The graceful front panel is curvy and glowing peach satin with two wide rigid bones. Elastic waist back is gently scooped and has a glossy satin fanny panel bordered with two long stays. There are six rubber and metal garters to secure your vintage silk stockings. On one side is a peach enameled metal zipper with hooks & eyes and a demi-stay. The other side has two demi-stays at the waist. Vintage 1940's. Embroidered cloth tag reads Poirette with size stamped on hem as 28.

Condition

Condition is SUPERB ~ appears unworn ~ just two pinpricks on the fanny panel near the top ~ no other flaws or discoloration of any kind ~ powernet, elastic and garter tabs are in great condition with no dry rot or brittleness.
