We offer this gorgeous muted peach all-in-one open bottom girdle for your collecting pursuits. Simply outstanding, it is nearly all glowing satin with full satin front and back panels. It features sheer, double-nylon pointed cups that are fully open on the bottom and reinforced with fabric panels for excellent lifting power. The loveliest feather stitching accents the cups and front panel which has two bones. The sides are strong powernet for marvelous figure control and this foundation fastens on one side with an enameled metal zipper secured by hooks & eyes underneath. Satin ribbon straps adjust with enameled metal hardware. There are six rubber and metal garters in excellent condition to attach stockings. Vintage 1940s. Slightly faded double cloth tag reads
Warner's Le Gant Royale ~ Free Lift ~ Two Way-One Way Stretch ~ Size 40 which is accurate ~ cups are size C. Additional information gives fabric content as a combination of rayon, nylon, and cotton. The original owner stitched a small section of the upper back satin panel to fit smaller ~ we removed the stitching but the needle marks are still faintly evident. Not a detriment as to the appearance but must be disclosed for complete accuracy.
Condition
Condition is EXCELLENT ~ very lightly worn, perhaps once or twice at most ~ a few minor, tiny scuffs and grey marks on the satin ~ needle marks on the back satin panel as noted above ~ otherwise, no fading, stretchout, holes, or dry rot.
