This vintage peignoir and nightgown set is wonderfully feminine and a delight to behold. The lushly full peignoir is constructed of baby blue double chiffon with beautiful, ruffled ivory lace trimming the neckline and gracing the romantic angel sleeves. Nylon piping ties into a bow for the front closure. The nightgown has sheer, double-chiffon cups with ruffled lace neckline, lace waist and the skirt is chiffon over opaque nylon. The hems of both the peignoir and gown have lettuce edging. Vintage 1970s. Cloth tag on the nightgown reads Intime ~ California ~ Nylon ~ Size Medium but measures as small. Measurements below are for the gown ~ the peignoir is 55" in length.
Condition
Condition is EXCELLENT ~ would be nearly perfect but there is a long, faint yellow stain on the peignoir down the front ~ not terribly noticeable but prevents us from selling the set as perfect ~ price has been adjusted accordingly ~ the peignoir's tag also has the letter R written in permanent ink ~ otherwise, there are no holes, picks, snags or other issues.
